Cook (part time)

As a cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals, sanitation of food service areas, accurate record keeping, receiving, rotating and inventory of products and regulatory compliance. As a key member of the dining services team, you will ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepared (Textured and modified diets prepared as directed).You will follow the specially prepared menus and production sheets to maintain the highest possible consistency of quality. You must also possess general knowledge of and demonstrate proficiency in various food preparation techniques, serving methods, portion control standards and general nutritional requirements for residents of retirement housing communities.
